Campus Update & Overview
- On July 28, 2017
In 2016, we at Natural Element Homes felt the need for a new location to improve our visibility, enhance our available operating space, and allow room for company growth. Now, about a year later, we feel very blessed to have moved our operations to an amazing location in Sweetwater, Tennessee. Since moving, we have completed a number of projects at our campus, and we continue to make improvements every day.
Perhaps the most notable of our projects is the construction of our new hybrid timber frame model home, based on our Sundance Getaway floor plan series (from the Drawing Board Collection). This beautiful model boasts a small but highly functional layout, one that we’ve seen rise significantly in popularity. At just under 1,200 square feet, our new model showcases the joys of living in a smaller home without sacrificing convenience and finish quality. The model is decked out with amazing barky and fiber cement sidings, a generous outdoor living area, and high-quality windows and doors. Inside, the home features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, as well as wide-open spaces for the common areas. Since this is our model, we decided to construct the home with a very high level of finish quality, and the results are spectacular! We’re as excited about our model as we are proud of it, and so far, our customers have expressed the same level of enthusiasm.
Besides constructing a new model, we’ve finished the two pre-existing log homes located at campus, which were simply “shells” when we moved in. Our main office now boasts an unbelievably good-looking and accommodating interior that functions perfectly as office space. The other building acts as as a sales and design center and product gallery. Inside, we happily showcases a number of our products and solutions: window & door samples, cedar shake options, fiber cement options, flooring options, stair & railing options, log style, cut, and corner joinery options, post & column options, SIP panel displays, stud wall construction & insulation displays, timber frame displays, wood texture samples, and much, much more!
Another popular feature of our Sweetwater campus is our prominent Comfy Cabin example, the Weekender. The Weekender is just one plan in our diverse Comfy Cabins collection, but it is very popular among visitors and passers-by. During and after its construction, visitors began pouring in to inquire about this attractive and economical option.
We’ve also overhauled our parking lot. Where the old parking lot often proved confusing to visitors, the new one conveniently designates the parking areas and helps funnel customers to our model home and design center.
At Natural Element Homes, we’re all very proud of our campus, and although we’re constantly looking for ways to improve it, we feel very blessed to have ended up here. As we continue into 2017, we encourage you to drop by for a visit. Odds are that we have something you’re interested in.
